Local Policing Charter

The Charter sets out West Mercia Police commitment to a community based and holistic policing approach to deliver a consistent, high-quality service.

Following consultation with local communities, the Local Policing Charter which was first launched in March 2021; and relaunched in March 2025  outlining the ongoing commitment to improving local policing for improved service delivery based on 3 principles of visibility, accessibility and engagement.
